happn is an app that uses geolocation. In order to find the people you've crossed paths with on happn, you must activate the location services in the settings of your smartphone. Otherwise, you won't cross paths with anyone.
Here is how to turn on geolocation on your phone:
- iOS: go to your iOS settings > “happn” > “Location” > “Always”.
- Android: open your phone settings > “Applications”> “happn” > “Permissions” > “Location”.

happn.com (Web version): the steps can vary whether you are using the desktop or mobile version and from one browser to another.
- Chrome (desktop): go to app.happn.com > Click the padlock on the top left > change “Location” to “Allow”.
- Safari (desktop): open the “Preferences” > “Websites” > “Location” > look up happn in the Website list > move the location permission to “Allow”.

Safari (iOS): go to app.happn.com, click on “aA” on the top left > “Website settings” > change “Location” to “Allow”.
Note: if you are browsing in private mode, Safari will automatically block location.
