• Do not ever send money or do any kind of payment to someone you met on happn, especially if you never saw the person in real life before.
• Do not invest in any project/offer/coaching program/crypto program your Crush is proposing to you. Remember you are here to find love and have fun, not to do business!
• When chatting with someone on happn, do not give sensitive information and do not send sensitive content like private pictures. Send messages exclusively on the app and get to know the person before planning a date. Trust your gut feeling! Remember that you can always cancel a Crush if you feel the person is not meant for you and is acting weird!
• Only add a happner on social media when you really trust them, as it will give access to very personal information about yourself (your family, friends, where you live…). Same for your phone number or other contact information: you have to trust the person before sharing anything!
• If your Crush is never available to meet and/or lives in another country, it can be suspicious. We advise you to uncrush the profile if the person is not willing to meet you after some time and even report the profile if you have doubts about his/her identity. Remember that happn is meant to allow you to meet people that live close to you and eventually, our goal is to make our users meet in real life! - If you think your Crush is using fake pictures from the internet, you can search for his/her picture online with a reverse Google search image.
• Remember that you can always, at any time, block and/or report a profile from the app. To do so, scroll down to the bottom of the profile and click on “report and block”. f you just wish to block a profile, it will cancel the Crush and the person will not be able to contact you again. If you decide to report a profile, our specialist team that works 24/7, will take care of the rest and ban it if necessary.
