Refunds depend on where you purchased your happn subscription. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel or refund a subscription. Check the step-by-step below for iOS and Android.
On iOS, purchases are billed by Apple. Refund or payment issues must be handled directly by Apple, since happn can’t issue or fast-track App Store refunds.
How to request a refund
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Sign in with the Apple ID used for the purchase.
- Select Request a refund, pick a reason, then tap Next.
- Select the happn item and tap Submit.
Tip: you can also start from the “Report a Problem” link in Apple’s receipt email. To check status later, return to reportaproblem.apple.com and choose Check Status of Claims.
Less than 48 hours from purchase
Request a refund directly through Google Play:
- Open the Google Play app.
- Profile (top right) → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history (or Purchase history).
- Select the happn purchase → Request a refund and follow the prompts.
You can also use the online Google Play refund flow and follow the on-screen steps.
More than 48 hours
You can ask happn to review your request only if you contact us within 14 days of the purchase date. Requests sent after 14 days aren’t eligible under our policy.
When you contact happn Support, include:
- Your Google Play order ID (starts with GPA.)
- The purchase date
- A brief description of the issue
Where to find your Google Play order ID (GPA)
- Email receipt: search “Your receipt from Google Play” (sender: noreply@google.com) and open the happn receipt. Look for Order number / Transaction ID (e.g., GPA.1234-1234-1234-12345).
- Google Play app: Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history (or Purchase history) → tap the happn purchase to view details; the Order number / Transaction ID appears there.
- Google Payments (web):payments.google.com → Activity (or Subscriptions & services → happn → Manage / View transactions) to see the GPA ID.
Please, remember that requesting a refund does not cancel your subscription. If you don’t want it to renew, please cancel it in the store’s Subscriptions section.
